Mohammad Reza Najafi Emami’s interview

Mohammad Reza Najafi Emami’s interview“Mobarak” and its foreign samples :

The Films like “Garfield” “Alvin” and etc.. are the samples of real animation in universe. In Iran most of the people think animation is similar to cartoon. Some films like “hulk” is real-animation movies and create characters in a real space that named VFX. But animation in Iran hasn’t this kind of definition so our  directors and producers have kind of negative mind about that. At “Mobarak” I  create a fantasy character that acted by miss shaker dust ( Iranian famous actress).I think this kinds of productions hasn’t approved in our cinema yet.

In Iran producers are follow the way that has a efficacy and benefits so their prefer to not participate at this kinds of new methods of animation. The most of efficacy is from box office in Iran and don’t care about the others possible income at this industry. Now we present the first real-animation  movie in Iran with the own capital. Totally  I can say producing a real-animation in Iran will cost about 2 million dollars.

Mohammad Reza Najafi Emami’s interview

Real-animation looking as child film:

I did not produce mobarak to the child’s target audience, but I made the general audience’s intention. The fact that children are more likely to support it may be due to fantasy characters such as Dave Ekwan, Dave White and Mubarak. Maybe if you made the movie characters real, you would not ask this question. That this genre and this graphics is specific to the child cinema is not correct. Now in Hollywood samples, children may not like the Hulk movie, while it’s a real animated movie.

Our goal is the global market. The production of animated films and products with special effects in Iran is rising considerably, indicating the audience’s acceptance of this model of work. But the point that I emphasized from the start of the work was entering the international community, because I believe that the kids inside of Iran are professional technically, and have enough experience and knowledge to produce international films.
